I think he didn't put Becks on to make a statement saying "I pick the team not public opinion" I reckon Becks may get his cap at a later date in a friendly only not in a mtach that matters! But IF he doesn't many great players before him have had almost 100 caps.It won't effect his bank balance only his pride.
