Default A Guide to What is Repuation and How do I use it?

Hello and Welcome to the Reputation System

Below are the typical questions people ask with regards to the reputation system and how it works.
  1. What is it?
The repuation system is a way in which members can give each other a 'pat-on-the-back'.
It is a way also in which a community can weigh the repuation of a user to what they say.
  2. How do I give a reputation?
Click on the image icon : above the "Join Date"
  3. Do I have to write a comment?
You will then be shown a box
It is not necessary for you to enter a comment, but it is preferable.
  4. How do I know if I receive a reputation?
At the moment, if you go to UserCP a box should show up showing the lastest rep received. In the future, you might get a flashing icon telling you and the box could be enhanced to show who gave the rep and how much the value was
Furthermore, a notification box will pop up saying something along the lines of "Thank you for adding reputation to this user"
  5. What to do if I receive an abusive reputation comment?
The same rules of the forum apply to rep comments, and it can be viewed by admin.
