BBC NEWS | Technology | Say goodbye to the computer mouse

I don't think I can imagine my computer without a mouse. I've used a Wii and I have an iPhone so I'm used to other ways of inputting things but not having a mouse on the desk seems very odd!

I think I would be lost without a mouse too. I wouldn't know what to do with my right hand hand!

Bugger that for a game of soldiers! They will have to prise my mouse off me with some force. For God's sake - I paid £12 for my Optical Mouse and there's no way I am going to let it go until I have had my moneys worth. It is only five years old - I can't afford to keep changing input systems as often as this. It's bad enough having a new mobile phone which needs a PhD to work it without having to get all technophyllic with a replacement for the mouse.

I haven't used a mouse for ages. I am used to the touchpad on my laptop, even for things like photoshop.

After the above post I now have to hang my head and admit that two days ago I bought a mouse to use when playing guildwars. I forgot it was plugged in the other night, and it hit the floor. it is now a partial mouse.

Didn't like it anyway, I was still mainly using the touchpad even for gaming.
