i dunno, i just love food with the exception of shellfish-i will try anything once

back in the 80s, i took new gf to new restaurant in London for top meal and it was served cold-so i asked for two new meals and the same dishes came back, hot outside and raw inside-i called for manager and chef-both came out and i complained and they got stroppy-incredible as this was top place in London in mid 80s-i said we are going and this place stinks-they locked the doors and called the police after which point i was let off with a caution due to events which transpired as a result of the manager poking me in the chest

sorry to go off-tangent there but had to mention what was advertised as the best meal you could ever eat resulted in me ending up being read my rights

Shellfish is one of may faves and as the girls don't like it I'll have it when I'm out.

Lobster is too expensive in this country, but I've had it abroad- Cape Cod was brill, with a nice chilled white wine. Yum.

Best meal I've had was in a place in Canada. I asked for chili con carne, it came in a hollowed out cottage loaf & it was really good, nice & spicy with a side salad
