If it is something I can freeze or use next day it gets re used. Otherwise it gets binned. I'm hoping that at some point soon our sorry council we supply some composting bins so that some of it can go in there rather than the normal bin.

Snap-my dogs get the left overs dependant on what and how much there is left, except if it's Pork based as it can give dogs worms!

I try to save what doesn't get eaten. In fact, I often cook more than needed so some CAN be saved...........saves me cooking again the next night! I've got quantities down to a fine art now.

usually keep boiled potatoes as taste better cold than hot-Sunday roast left-overs, the same applies, cold roast meat tastes better than hot and will do for sandwiches during the week

If there a lot left over, which there is always, with o/h being a chef he can't get it into his head he's cooking for 2 adults and 2 little tots and goes ahead and makes enough for an army so i usually reheat it next day for lunch.

I have the same problem Madevie! But it's me who cooks far too much because I'm used to cooking in large quantities. My OH is getting rather fat because he eats everything on his plate!
