When the kids were young and we were still a family I used to cook loads (there were 6 of us) and often would prepare a pudding to cook in the microwave while we were eating the main course. Steamed sponge puds and the like only taking minutes to cook. We always had some sort of pudding every day.

I miss those days.

I am not a great fan of the pudding. But only because of that over full feeling one gets afterwards. When nothing but a good, lengthy lie down will cure it.
