Default Pancake day at risk of dying out

I remember as a child eating pancakes that were covered in sugar and swimming
in lemon juice
but I have to admit that I don't bother making them now.
Do you?

I haven't made them for quite a while, probably because they're too fattening. Always used to make them for my boys when they were younger, but they've flown the nest now.

Mmmmmmmmm. I like mine with lashings of golden syrup and lemon juice. Oooooooo, I'm dribbling at the very thought!!!!

My 2 boys don't like them though, so all the more for me.

I'm going to be cutting out all sweet food during lent, and sticking to purely savoury food (apart from fruit).

I've never made them, I don't like them.

I do think it is a shame if the tradition dies out though.

They are not going to die out in my house even though I am the only 1 that eats them.
I also like Ice Cream on mine.
