I'll start with the swallow spit soup, followed by the silkworm pupae and for dessert I,ll have the Durian.
( I ate some Durian "sweets" once. They taste like unwashed socks)

During WW2 we occasionally used to find Tinned Whole Chicken. I was only a kid at the time but I remember it was very small, tasted fine as far as I can remember but then everything which passed as food tasted good to a lesser or greater degree in those times.
The Swedes do various sorts of Pickled Herring in Mustard Sauce, Tomato Sauce and one which is a fermented one. This latter is almost as bad as Durian Fruit and my daughter only allowed her Father-in-Law to open it at the top of a very long garden. He will eat anything. The more teeth it has the better but in this case he didn't finish the tin contents. He wasn't sick though so I suppose it wasn't as bad as it smelled.
