Default Hungry? Rich?

Got $175 to spare? Why not try the world's most expensive burger!

More money than sense? Quite possibly.

That's not rich, that's obscene.

This a typical American idea for a super burger. The Americans have a propensity for putting what Jezer calls obscene dishes on their menus. I used to choose my meals on price when I was visiting the States, both on business and for pleasure. Large meals are a fact of life over there. You find things like a 48oz Prime Rib or a very large lobster, especially in the Maritime States, with a price to match. One thing which the Americans do which we in Britain are loath to do is ask for a "doggy bag". The name implies that the dog is going to get the leftovers but in reality the amount left is so big it can be used as a meal the next day. Even a simple Pastrami Sandwich can contain 4 or 5 ozs of meat in a six inch diameter bun. It is no wonder obesity is so extensive in America. Unfortunately, this tendecy for over eating fattening fast food is over here now and we are seeing the same symptoms. Fortunately, this type of Burger is unlikely to appear in the local Burger King or Mc Donalds here in the UK. However, I agree with Jezer - it is obscene.

We'd ask for a 'to go' or take out box and have it for our meal the next day.

I managed to come back from the States at the same weight when we moved there and I hardly ever finished a main course.
