Weird!

Strangely I can get on here fine via firefox but if I try via aol all I get is a page with several strips of the same text saying:

Marnie .... I've had exactly the same problem, but I use FireFox.

Sir C helped me to connect by typing 'index.php' after the site URL address.

I'm guessing Adam is having a fiddle with it .....

bizarre isn't it. I've been having fun and games - not! AOL has been connectivity junk this past couple of weeks, but not anything you can say has any real rhyme or reason, just haphazard, hope it's sorted soon.

I have had exactly the same problem, so e-mailed Adam. He said that some-one had 'fudged' the server-what does that mean?

I had to come in via my history panel.

Evening all. Nothing to worry about.

We were testing some software earlier and one of the server techs fudged (a non technically term to stop me using a rude word!) it up and it affected the site for about 30 minutes or so.

If you were using a direct link (ie generalchat.co.uk/index.php /private.php etc etc) you should have been fine. Just using the generalchat.co.uk was the problem.

Was nice to get on GC in the normal fashion-but alls well that ends well as Jezer says.

It's just righted itself for me via AOL.
