Default What do you want?

Feedback has been a little quiet lately, the mod team are tinkering away in the background trying to make GC the best forum on the web but we need YOUR help! Tell us what you would like to see and we will look into it.

Are there any sections you would like to see added?

Would you like to be able to have pictures in your signatures?

Would you like to see awards for other things not just MOM?

I am not saying these things are going to happen, these are just a few ideas to hopefully start a discussion. We would love to have input from the members to help us create a better forum for everyone.

GC has been around largely unchanged for nearly three years so we must be doing somethings well. That said, everything evolves so what would be really useful to us is a list of things you like and the things you don't.

For example do you like the Banner, what about the skin (colour scheme and layout) or should we add a shoutbox. Should we set up a members only area where threads cannot be seen by guests? Please give us your views.

We do have some legal responsibilites so we can't promise to do everything but we will consider all suggestions

I think having a members only area could be useful, we have that on both my own forum and the metal detecting one I admin. GC has more of the forum open to guests than I have. I think it's just a case of getting the balance right.

A shout box or chat room may be useful. We use a chat room on both sites. The chat room does get used quite often and does prove to be popular with the members. It's not available to guests in a similar fashion to the arcade on here.

Having colour groups for differentiating between, admin, moderators, members, etc could be worth implementing too, again I have this on both the sites I look after.

Just a few ideas

Thanks for the feedback Discovery

I've just had another thought.......do people think there is any value in a reputation/karma system?

If you're gonna change the skins then at least let us choose which skin we'd like, if you need help with this pm me. I run 2 VBulletin forums and know the software and templates

Feedback duly noted bublo although I do find it odd that whenever we do something ,you dont like it and remind us that you have your own forums

There will probably be more themes coming and the option to choose the one that you like - the mods are currently shortlisting it.
