Rep points are given out by other members - they are a relatively new addition for us!

Rep power goes up as you get more points - and is how many points you give to others.

Mods and admins give more rep points!

Actually rep is meant to be anonymous... but the giver can put their name to it in the comment section if they wish.

Also, you can give negative rep if you think someone has given a bad post, but I tend not to do that, I would rather speak to the person and resolve things that way. Giving someone a pat on the back for saying something funny, interesting or helpful is nice though.

oooo being able to give a negative is no way clever if i may say so, a troll will sit and give negatives to cause unrest in a forum and can even sign to be someone else.......a negative can be given just because one person has become obsessed with a hate campaign against someone, happens all of the time on the internet, I really hope you have this feature turned off
