Rant Thread!

Let rip here and so keep the rest of GC freed up for those of a milder disposition!

What bugs you or is bugging you?

Get it off your chest now!

I'll kick it off with an old chesnut of mine-

You sit watching a film, as I was just now, on TV. You are immersed in the time and place of that film, and for me it was Young Churchill.

The film reaches the end, and so often as they do, on an emotional note.

Cue music that relects the moment as the credits roll and you reflect upon what you have seen and read the credits with interest.

CUE some F*&*&^** moron who then talks over the music, and they sometimes reduce the size of the credits onscreen to tell us about some banal unrelated programme that is on BBC26 or ITV54.

I DON'T F%^&*$%^ care!!

DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?

And breathe.

That is probably my number one annoyance too. A lot of the time I just switch it off as soon as the talking and shrinking down starts. There was one even more annoying the other week. The program that I had been enjoying had a complicated plot and it was just being explained a minute before the end. Suddenly this idiot announcer talks all over it and shrinks the picture down and the next program is shown at the side of the existing one complete with its own audio!

So am I. I just can't believe it. Just moved out from a flat with upstairs neighbours from hell to have people nearly (but not quite) as bad move in above us. I'd say that pretty much 90% of the places I've lived in have had problems - I think I sub consciously listen out for it now which doesn't help!

Adam I understand completely, in my first flat we lived above this bloke who claimed to be a DJ who played banging music at all hours, then when he wasnt playing music we could hear his every word as he was so loud!

That's probably because he was deaf from the loud music!

You could be right there.... I only lasted 6 months there, it was terrible!
