Hello! Up early for a change.... got to do some tidying up today as my sister is having her leaving party up at my parents house tomorrow night, so I need to tidy up here as the grown ups are spending the evening here...... which means.......SHOCK HORROR! I have to move all my computer stuff out of the dining room..... awww I don't want to.....

Well Matt's train gets in at 4.30 this afternoon so he's en route as I type. I hope he doesn't have too much trouble crossing London, rather him than me. I shall flash around with the hoover and then make one of those lemon cakes I posted the recipe for. Actually it will be lime cake as limes were cheaper than lemons. btw did you know that if you warm a lemon or lime for about 20 secs in the microwave you get more juice. No idea why but it really does work.

So far my tidying up is going slowly, I keep getting distracted by the internet and the telly....currently watching trash to cash!

I've been out this morning to visit one of the local shops as I didn't have a spare USB2.0 PCI card for a customer. Slightly dearer than my usual online supplier but much cheaper than that well known high street PC retailer!

Got an old valve guitar amp to have a look at for someone this afternoon. Should keep me out of mischief for a while!

Matt just phoned to let me know that the train is on time and to ask if there's anything in the house he can eat as he's starving. I reckon he's going to eat me out of house and home while he's here but then that's as I expected. Off to the station soon to collect the poor hungry boy.
