Hey all, it's been a horrible day here today. Where have I been til now? Spring (or summer, alledgedly) cleaning! I dropped the news on Aunty that we were having visitors next month, and she was less than pleased, she said the house needed a lot doing before then, so we got stuck in. About 4 bags of rubbish and two bags for the charity shop. Didn't have her down as the houseproud type! Anyway I am knackered now..... but my bedroom is shiny as a new pin! Hope everyone has had a good day.

Hi folks

You make me feel so guilty Amy...my house is a tip and I have no motivation to sort it out. Having my son home is driving me crazy. He's meant to be going back to Canterbury on Monday stopping off to visit his sister in London en route. The trouble is he's waiting for his deposit from halls of residence to be repaid and so far it hasn't happened he has no money for the fare and I can't help as I am broke so goodness knows how we're going to sort that one out.

I hope his money turns up soon, I know how you feel, I have been waiting for my compensation payment since the end of April.... hope it gets sorted quicker than mine did. There is still plenty to do here, but my room looks like a room not a jumble sale! I am really tired now. Still hopefully it will all be worth it.. Aunty wants to reclaim the kitchen (it has been recently used as my base, my computer and printer on the dining room table, my ebay things in a crate under the table) but now it is all back in my room as it should be. I know I am messy but so is she! I think I am turning over a new leaf since yesterday I did all my washing and ironing!
While I was sorting out my room I came across a star wars alarm clock I have had for years, I am now trying to find out if it is worth anything. If so, ebay here I come.....

Hell yeah, I am feeling so smug right now.... my room looks lovely and so does Aunty's. We have hung a new shower curtain in the bathroom, and cleared the kitchen of all my junk. I am tired but really chuffed with myself!
