Default Party invitations cause controversy

Have the powers that be in Sweden got no real crime to deal with.
If they were handed out in class should that make a difference.
Would it have been ok if the invitations were handed out in the playground?

We had the situation in the US, and it was a Brit school, whereby if you were not inviting all from your class you could not distribute invites at the school.

Bloody good job it wasn't one of those blasted American Style "Proms". Just think of the expense of reimbursing someone who had spent about £300 on a frock, shoes, hair-do, costume jewellery and a white limo. My grand daughter has just been to her "Prom" - God the fuss and bother was horrendous. Much better in my day - "Cheerio lads ( from the school gate) see you later - maybe." Thinks "Thank God I have seen the last of that load of w*****s."

Oh Sweden! Don't start me I know about that place! A few years ago they had a Parlimentary debate (yes the same sort as decides to go to war or not) about allowing men to stand up while urinating as it may not be fair on women.! WTF?

Well I suppose if you have 36% basic rate tax and all enjoyment taxed further You have loads of money to waste!

Ignore them. I do!

You must admit Sooty that they have a very laid back lifestyle. My daughter and family are in Stockholm at the moment and we have visited them on a couple of occasions. They certainly have some strange ways. One Swedish lady took my daughter to task for not putting her waste bin in the same way that the rest of the neighbours did, handle to the front and lined up with the pavement. As for driving, apart from their Rally Drivers, the rest of them seem to tootle around at about 40 mph unless they are on the "motorway" when they manage to get up to about 60 mph. I suppose if you have to go to the State Liquor Shop for any alcoholic drink over 3.5% alcohol then you are likely to get a bit depressed. As you say the Income Tax level is truly horrendous and beer in the local bars at £5 -£6 a pint is a bit strong.
