Well it will be here I have loads to do today.

Morning all. Have a good start to the week I for one am determined that to forget the disastrous week I had last week and actually achieve something this week. I already had good news...it looks like the property exchange will go ahead (subject to council approval). The other tenant called to say we're back on track woohoo.

And further to the article I posted the other day about that lovely train in Darlington here's a film link.

I'm lucky Defiant pulls the Shakespeare special past the end of my garden twice every Sunday at the moment. I've also got a couple of rivets in a Mogul on the SVR.

Cheers peeps as you probably gathered I'm a bit of a steam fan myself. When I was 5 the family moved from Lancashire to here and to this day I still remember the noise and the smell of Crewe station. Train travel still excites me in fact my friend and I use the train to go on days out down into Cornwall occasionally. It makes it more of an event and saves either of us having to drive. I haven't been on a steam train for years, the last time was a trip on the Dart Valley railway from Buckfastleigh to Totnes. If ever any of you are down this way I can highly recommend it. The Dart Valley is beautiful.

Quick update on the house swap thingy...the council inspector is coming here this afternoon. So I've been tidying and hoovering like crazy. I'm told we should get a decision within the next 42 days. Pray for me peeps.

House inspection done no problems other than I have to put back a door I took off to get a piano into the dining room. Gonna need help with that but not a huge problem.

Have to go to post a letter now (water bill). Then it's food time.

Hi all!

I wanted to post yesterday but I could not access the site.

Glad to see everything is back to normal now.

Last night I was at an open mic night and I did a song which got me a free drink! It was really good fun.

Today I went out for dinner, and went to see my parents. I STILL have this evil sore throat, it is really hanging on, but apart from that life is pretty good. Hope everyone is having a good day!
