Forum Time Capsule

Imagine that as a forum we are putting together a time capsule to be opened in 100 years time. What things would you put in.....

To define yourself, and to define the era we live in?

To define myself, a corset and some crazy dye.

To define the era we live in, some item of technology..... maybe a laptop or a games console.

How about the rest of you?

It would need to be a big box!

As JAS39 Gripen Aircraft the magnum opus of my working life (well maybe just the flight Control ECUs). A cricket ball and Tom Baker's Doctor Who scarf.

To define the era we live in a Utility company share certificate, a P45 and benefit claim form (to show how the country has changed in my lifetime) and a used Passport full of visas and stamps to show how much we travelled.

Some computer games I've regularly played, a few metal detecting finds and maybe a USB pen drive with some info on.

What an excellent thread... erm what would I like to be remembered by - not sure about that, but I would do the same as you Amy, corset (probably because I cant get into it now), a letter to my future grandchildren to explain that we were young once and probably did the same things they would be doing. And, maybe a recipe for a traditional British meal, as we are becoming more and more multi cultural with out culinary tastes.
