I'm sure even the youngest of us here will have at some point lived through a "fad", you know what I mean, a must have fashion item or toy, particularly during your school years. So which fads do you remember fondly and which make you cringe??
Shellsuits make me cringe... I had three, I am almost too ashamed to admit it but well I am amongst friends.. I also had a t-shirt with the "acid" smiley face on (not unlike this actually
). I was about 10 and had no idea it was anything to do with drugs
The fads I enjoyed at school were making friendship bracelets, I had them all up my arm and my friends and I used to swap them constantly, and I remember collecting these beads out of crisp packets that went on the spokes on your bike (just an excuse to eat more crisps
)
