Wow what a great weekend I'm having. I had a super day yesterday then had a great chat with a friend on msn in the evening. Just checked my lottery and I won a tenner so that's thirty quid as I won a tenner last Saturday and on Wednesday as well. I think I'll treat myself to a cream cake yum yum

Hey everyone! It's really nice and sunny here today, which is a bit of an annoyance to me, here's why.......

Last night I was going to a gig and it was outdoors in a pub courtyard, it was absolutely POURING down, so we arrived and the manager of the pub said it would have to be called off. I was absolutely gutted, not just for myself but also for the band. The main band who were going to be on later, did not want to play in the rain to a handful of people. My bf's band, decided to play anyway, and once they started the atmosphere was fantastic, people started appearing, the crowd were dancing with their umbrellas up and they did an encore, so the main band decided to play anyway. Despite the weather it was a fantastic night. I got totally soaked.

And now today with nothing to do, the weather is perfect! Sod's law or what?

Hope everyone is having a good day. As it's sunday I'll be back to the pub later for the open mic night where you sing for free beer!

I've been on a metal detecting dig today. It was day two of a weekend rally but I didn't go yesterday. The weather stayed dry all day and the sun came out this afternoon. Enjoyed the dig, had a few natters. I found a cartwheel penny but not much else.

I'm off for a beer this evening. Should round off the day nicely.
