Tipping down Tuesday

Hiya peeps. It's actually stopped tipping down here for the moment but it's still damp and grey and sooooooo depressing.

I had to go and fetch a parcel earlier it's a lovely light shade for the hallway in the flat. My man was selling one on ebay and I asked if I could have it if it didn't sell but he had another so he sent it to me. What a love.

There's a gas engineer coming in a bit to check the gas fire and the boiler as part of the pre-exchange checks. I can't imagine the council would go ahead with all this (electricians were here last week) if they aren't going to approve the swap so it's lookin' good.

Gas man has been and pronounced the boiler and gas fire fit for use.

The rain has stopped and I just had a brief glimpse of some sunshine.

This weathers driving me crackers. I’ve taken this week off so that I can watch the Olympics, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to go out and do other things. I’m well into cycling and over here on the east coast during the holiday season is bad enough with clueless punters trying to drive and read the road map at the same time, but having the rain teeming down too? Flooded roads and the like? Sod that. I’ve got the rollers out and I’ll do my workouts in the garage for now.
