You're In Charge!

Imagine that by some miracle you have been put in charge of the country. What laws would you make? What would you change? Could you make the UK a better place?

Aside from the obvious one (the free chocolate law, it'd be a morale booster and everyone would be happier

)

I would like to offer better training for the unemployed to help those who WANT to work get back into work, and penalites for those who habitually avoid work and give those of us who are honest and trying our hardest a bad name.

That's a start anyway, I'll see what else I can come up with. How about the rest of you? What would you do if you were in charge?

I'm not sure what I would do. Definitely sort out the lazy buggers who avoid working and bleed the state dry. Cap MPs salaries and expenses. Bring back corporal punishment. Become a dictator..

I would ban social security people just take the pee out of it, if all the immigrants can come here and find work then why can't the lazy benefit scroungers find it, there is a couple who live near me they are having there 11th kid none of them have a job and have had 2 council housing knocked into one to accommodate them, my o/h works 7 days a week, i work weekends (and will return to work full time when the kids go to school) so we can pay the mortgage and give the kids what they need it makes my blood boil with all these free handouts lazy folk get.

The wearing of seat belts will be banned, and all airbags and other safety devices from cars will be removed.

The steering boss, that is the thing at the middle of the steering wheel, will have a compulsory fitting of a steel blade which is coated in deadly poison and is sited one inch from the chest of the driver.

There will be no speed limits, no speed cameras- no need.

I would make GB a free Britain again, we would keep our customs and anyone who wanted to be apart of that would be welcome but nothing would be changed for them!!!!! school uniforms for all kids if the school warranted it and porcelain pigs back in the window sill of the woman who collects them..........her window sill, her pigs!

However, think about it.

People will slow down, take bends more gently, less road rage etc.

People drive like lunatics cos thery think they are impervious to danger.
