Yep sunshine and clear blue skies here...so today is hedge cutting day. The chap I'm excahanging properties with called at 9 o'clock and should be here quite soon. With two of us doing it the job should onlt tale about an hour then we can tackle the back garden.

Looking forward to a quiet bank holiday if it stays nice I think a picnic on Dartmoor might be on the cards.

Hello all, i have an abscess the size of a grape on my underarm which is killing, i'm just back from the doctors and iv'e to go back again at 12pm he is going to lance it off

not looking forward to it one bit, don't you just love it when doctor's say it will be a bit uncomfortable, yeah right you mean it will be excruciating and i'll be in agony for hours after, i wanna cry. Have a good weekend to you all.

That doesn't sound like fun Evie! Hope it isn't too painful. At least he is a GP that is going to do something about it. So many just send you off to see someone else.

Sunny day and just bought another fish for ma tank. Looking good, well pleased..yes im a fish enthusiast.

I'm back, i'm a brave wee soldier

, first he put some sort of liquid stuff around the area, the he sprayed it with something to make the area numb then he stuck a big fecking needle in it

and i tell you the spray done nothing

, he then squeezed the abscess to get everything out which was pretty painfull, at least it's all over, iv'e got anitbiotics to take as i have a small one coming up in the other arm but not to worry the first thing i asked doctor was could i drink alcohol on them, he probably thinks i'm some sort of alkie

it's friday why not, i'm now going to play on my poor sore arm routine and get o/h to make my fave steak and chips for dinner tonight, yum yum, my o/h is a trained chef i just wanted to throw that in, i'm a very lucky girl

your right adam i diden't know gp's done things like that, cool.

It diden't half adam ewww, i don't do any cooking, he does it all, he makes everything from scratch, he makes lovely stocks for sauces etc, scones, bread everything, he's lucky if i make him some scrammbled egg on fathers day lol ohh and leaves lunch for us, told you i was lucky

Just a quick one...for those of you that read the sad tale of the baby whale in Australia...I have just read that it has been killed by lethal injection. So very sad that no way could be found to save it.
