Ok people, it's the Summer Bank Holiday

And what better use to make of your day of leisure than coming up with excuses for another day off? So what's the best day to add to the calendar for a day off?

I am on holiday all the time so I don't think I can add any more days to the holiday calendar.

Well we do have less than any other EU member, with the exception of Romania.

How about something in October or November...perhaps November for Armistice. That would be something to look forward to on the run up to Christmas

How about Mid summer? Most of the other EU Countries have a holiday then. I'd prefer the Bank Holiday to be at a time of year when there is at least some chance of sun.

Never mind about more holidays - I need you younger lot to keep working to pay for my Pension. I can't have you all skiving off on holidays and such like, not with the way the Rate of Inflation is rising. You should never be afraid of work - I'm not; I can sit and watch it all day, no problem.
