Soggy Sunday

Hi all!

It's raining here and it's 'orrible. I am not going anywhere or doing anything today, and just as well as it is tipping down. My only plan today was washing..... and well that's knackered now isn't it! Hope it's better where you are, and have a nice sunday whatever you are up to.

Just started raining here in the Midlands after a very warm, muggy morning. My washing plans are on hold too.
I will be deciding on my new OU course and sorting out wedding photos. Oh...and keeping two dogs from being bored all day. I shall have to get the toy box out...they have read all their books...sigh

It's now 13:20 here and it is misty but dry. Rain is forecast for later this afternoon but I am not seeing any signs of the thunderstorms they said we would be getting today. I have looked on Blitzortung.org - Strikes but there aren't any storms apparent anywhere. The Met Site is showing heavy rain for 16:00 but nothing is happening yet.

Oooops - just started to give some heavy rain drops on the conservatory roof. Better get Mrs Esca to get the washing in.

We had a horrible humid night here couldn't sleep...I sat here listening to a thunderstorm rumbling in the distance then at 5am it poured down for about half an hour which cooled things down somewhat. The day so far has been humid but the temperature has now dropped so I think more rain is on the way.

Matt has decided not to go back to Canterbury today (blast it) so I'm cooking spaghetti bolognese with garlic bread for dinner.

Soakin Sunday here. It's been pishing it down all day so far. Had to go out earlier on for a meeting in town. Took the motor but still got soaked when exiting and entering it. Feckin weather.

Been up to my parents house for lunch and had the dog asleep on my knee for about two hours afterwards, I didn't want to disturb him so I stayed put. The rain here is getting worse, it's really dull here too.

Showers here...very humid though have the windows wide open all around the house but not enough breeze to cool things down.

Bolognese is done and garlic bread (used a cheese topped baguette so should be good) ready to go in the oven while I cook the spaghetti. All I need now is for Matt to wake up...silly boy was awake most of the night again but with luck we'll eat before midnight.

Been busy at work today, and Mrs J did the cooking this evening.

Just had a lovely meal and am settling in for the evening.

the bolognese was delicious...garlic bread could have been more crispy round the edges but hey I did my best.

All I want now is to sleep all night...I'm really getting fed up with being awake before the birds.
