Phew just been sorting out the pile of books stacked in the corner of the lounge...talking a tea break as sitting on the floor has made my back ache. It's gonna break my heart but quite a few will have to be dumped. Some I've advertised on Freecycle so hopefully they will go to a good home.

Weather here very windy and autumnal.

Soon be dinner time...only burgers today but they are nice burgers.

I called the cat's protection league and there's no hope of getting Geoffrey re-homed given the tight time scale. There are a couple of rescue places local but I really don't want to have to use them even if they'll take him. He could end up living in a cage for ages till someone chose him. So what on earth am I going to do? The people that are coming here don't want him besides they have children and Geoff isn't used to little ones.

Any suggestions peeps?

To be honest Adam I don't think it would be fair. He's 8 years old and has always had total freedom through the cat flap in the back door. To confine him and make him use a poo tray just wouldn't seem right. There is no way he could go outside because the flat is on the second floor.

Right that's it I've had enough today...not very productive and the weather is foul.

Bath and an early one for me.

I spent most of the day out, I've had quite a nice day. It's rained on and off though. I've got myself some new dye, this weekend is looking like a purple hair weekend!
