It did us twice with a Cheese Sauce made Esca style. If you want a good Microwave White Sauce method, using the accepted Roux way, which gives a good cooked out sauce let me know. It is more foolproof than messing about with a saucepan on the gas and getting the sauce, or the Roux, burnt. Makes for better washing up as well.

I went to Aldi once cuz I had heard that it was good for basic stuff...I wanted some vanilla flavouring but nope...not basic enough!! Their prepacked meat was a bit horrible too and the choice of brands was poor but it was great for fresh veggies and fruit...

I am always impressed when I go to Aldi, although I am a sainsburys girl at heart. I've never been to Lidl as there is not one locally. I also find iceland are pretty good for offers, as long as you have plenty of space in the freezer!
