Sunny start then some rain now sunny again.

Shane has now filled half my dining room up with boxes and my stuff is cluttering up the lounge. A lady is coming to look at the sideboard in a bit...don't really want to give it away but it's got to go and I couldn't sell it. Ben is fetching the sofa in a couple of hours. I've packed up all my cds and dvds will sort through the books later when I've had a break.

We're having Chinese style curry a la Ken Hom with basmati rice for tea. I'm really looking forward to cooking and eating that then it's on with the packing till I open the bottle of South African red later.

Can't wait for this time next week when it will be all over apart from organising the new place. Phew...

Just been talking to my former neighbours in Houston, and Ike is still heading their way.

They are some way inland and Galveston is flooding, as is Surfside where I was staying last year.

The downpour I went through today pales into insignificance.

Damn thing is moving so slowly that there will be such heavy downpours and possible damage.

Oh Jezer, hope your neighbours are ok.

Well I lost my internet this afternoon. I was trying to connect the playstation to the internet and it wouldnt recognise my network password, so I changed it, then the pcs wouldnt recognise it either... I had to get help....

Still not succesfully connected the playstation up. GRRR.

It seems like a terribly long day. I really wanted to sort that out today. Ahh well tomorrow is another day!
