Default Sunny Sunday.

That isn't true just yet as there is a mist clearing outside.

Should be later, fingers crossed, and we'll then take the mutt out.

Hope you all have a good one.

It's nice and sunny here, so I'm going to do some washing, exciting stuff!

No further plans, I'll just see what the day brings

Hope everyone is having a good day!

I'd do some washing if I had a working washing machine.

Our three year old Bosch went caput on Monday and will hopefully be fixed tomorrow.

Glorious Sunshine here

Mrs Sooty not too well so I'm tea monitor for the day! Also I was up at 4:30 to watch the Grand Prix and it's starting to catch up with me. I did manage to wash the cars this morning, mow the lawns, plant a few tubs with bulbs and attack the rampant ivy (it won I got ripped to shreads by the climbing roses it was growing up. Just got the washing up to do now.

Good day had here. Good weather (again!), and read Sooty's list of completed chores. Didn't do any chores myself, just read Sooty's

Jamie's post just made me remember an event around 25 years ago.

I bought a property in a High Street yards from a blooming good ale house, which was my regular.

I used to partake there with my dad and my brother.

Among the regulars was one person who was good at accepting a drink but useless at buying one.

Soon after buying said place I had agreed to meet up with my family, but caught up doing things at home.

I whammed into the pub and said to dad 'Sorry I was doing chores.'

The bloke who never bought anything heard what I said and replied 'What chores?'

Inspiration flowed into my brain from somewhere and I said 'pint of 6X please'.

First time he bought a pint in a long time.
