What's the scariest fairground ride you've ever been on?

Mine is in Copenhagen and called the Star Flyer (Himmelskybe)

Just an normal bench carousel suspended from chains wizzing you around with your feet dangling down. The difference? It's 80 metres (240 feet) up in the air and I did it in the dark too!

The corkscrew (west midland safari park)
might seem old hat now but at the time I was due to do a parachute jump in about a fortnights time and I thought if I can jump out of a plane I can go on this.
yipes give me jumping out of a plane anytime.

PS is that tivelli gardens Sooty?

Yes it's been modified from an old ride there that did a vertical drop. I did that one two years ago

I haven't been on a rollercoaster since they launched Nemesis at Alton Towers!

I do like them, I just can't be doing with the high cost of going to theme parks, and the queues when you get there.

I am not a fan of these things, and have illogical thoughts about them.

I did go on this ride a few years ago and wondered why at the time.

I was at the front BTW, which made the experience even more interesting.

My scariest moment is nothing to do with riding a ride, but when as a kid I was under a ride as it whammed over me.

Anyhow, I went on Krakon.

The scariest ride I've ever been on is one called 'Terroriser'. It's at Flamingo Land near Pickering in North Yorkshire. Basically you are sat in a circle facing outwards that spins round. an arm then takes the cricle up in the air. So not only are you spinning round but you are being taken up in the air& back down. I re-named it the 'S**teriser......neveragain will I go on that ride!!
