Default Same Language, Different Meanings!

Disco started this off talking about a rubber.

Now, we know what that means here in the UK but, as I'm sure most people know, it means something else in the US.

I made the error of talking about a fag in a ginourmous marble lined atrium which echoed like mad in New York.

So, what words that mean one thing here mean something else, not just in the US, but anywhere?

A weird anomoly is that the pavement in the US is the roadway.
