Just what I've always thought.

Hahaha, that time of the year coming up, can I give some money saving advice for those going on the diet, fitness campaign.
1) gym: The gym can cost you a fortune, some start of with all good intentions, after going for a few days the pain and stiffness start, then it is bugger that it hurts, Tip, if you join a gym, train with a friend 4 times a week, the pain soon goes, dont waste money if you cannot go 4 times a week. If like me you can only train alone, then you need will power and focus and hard work, but you will soon get the bug to keep going after 2 weeks you will feel the change in your energy levels. If you feel your waining there are gym instructors or other members that will help you keep going, imagine what your aiming for what you want to look like and that motivates you so just kep going, it becomes a hobby and a social event.

2) Diet: never ever say your going on a diet it becomes a job and work is not something we like. Call it changing my eating habits.
Ditch the ready made foods out of your freezer, they are full of salt, fats, and additives, which can cause bowel cancers and are so fattening. it takes on average 45 minutes to cook one of these meals.
Get some fresh veg, chicken breasts, tuna, etc, peeling cooking takes about 25 minutes and you have a nice low fat low sodium high energy meal which will burn your body fat very quickly.plus about 6 glasses of water a day
ALWAYS HAVE BREAKFAST... And never miss a meal ,6 small healthy meals a day, the last one being a protein meal before going to bed, as protein breaks down fat during the night

3) Take aways, chicken kebab and salad with chilli sauce end of

4) change from bread to wholegrain pitta bread, low in fat and excellent to eat.

There you go a few examples, if you cant afford the gym, then a 25 minute brisk walk 3-4 times a week will knock pounds off your waist line in no time.
Remember it is 10% effort and 90% will power.

Oh Alchohol,, in moderation spritzers are pretty good, or white spirits with diet tonic or soda.
And once a week have a anything goes day as a reward, yup anything, but you will find you will feel so guilty you will only have a tad of what you fancy.
Hope that helps
