I drink copious amounts of tea, where o/h drinks even more coffee. Can't say that I could drink it black though-I struggle drinking black coffee, never mind black tea!

My Dad has Parkinsons, now in an advanced state.
They come up with all sorts of things that could prevent slow it down etc.
One thing I once read about causes was young men drinking lots of milk. My Dad was a milkman and used to drink lots of Gold Top milk in his younger days.
My nan had it and his brothers got it, so you could argue they have a genetic predisposition to it, although the consultant originally said it isn't hereditery. A slight comfort to my sister and I but you do still worry.
I should say I never drink tea myself mainly coffee. My dad always used to drink many cups of tea each day!

Interestingly, I have never been a fan of milk. I am the only person I know, who drinks tea black, with lemon or ginger. I do like coffee, but in extremes, either strong and black or one of those ridiculous flavoured lattes from costa or starbucks. I've never been able to just drink milk though.

I don't drink tea very often as I prefer coffee, and probably more of it than is good for me. When I do though, I often drink it black, but don't make it too strong. A quick swirl of the tea bag, and out.

Since reading this thread Sarah, I have actually tried 'black tea' and found it more thirst quenching than tea with milk-so that's what I am going to drink now.

I've drunk my tea black for many years, don't like it weak but medium to strong is ok
If I drink coffee I either have it black or with just a splash of milk.

I'll bet you drink instant coffee too. YUK and double Yuk.. Proper coffee, ground beans there and then is the only way.

About half and half Arky. Depends if I can be bothered waiting for the percolator.

I don't drink tea very often, however if I do I drink it as it comes, no milk or sugar.
I find that if I am thirsty then nothing can beat it.
I also like green tea. Again, just as it comes, no milk or sugar.
Sarah thinks I am odd, but as I say, don't knock it till you have tried it...
