Default Hello from PnP

Hello to you all.
I’d like to introduce myself. I am logged onto this site as ‘plugnplay’. (PnP)
I like to try and help with finding information if you are having difficulty. It’s the challenge thing!
Some likes: bird watching, gardening, outdoor pursuits and the likes.
I have had a long time thing with photography, since I was a kid, but have found the switch from film to digital has dulled my enthusiasm of late so need help to fire up the boilers again.
I was into road running in the 1980’s and 90’s (10Km’s to the Marathon) but now getting old and other things have taken over since then though go to a gym whenever I can.
Anyway, I look forward to starting what I hope are interesting threads and also posting some constructive replies.

Hello PnP, welcome to GC.

PnP sounds like a transistor.

Ironically I've just got back into photography after recently getting myself a new camera. It is digital but the basic operation is similar to a film camera. I've had digital point and shoot cameras for a while but they just didn't feel the same. I've still got my 35mm SLR's but I haven't used them for quite some time.

I hope you enjoy the forum.

Hi PnP and welcome- get stuck in, and let's see some of your photos- easier with digital, but I understand your love of film.

Well, thanks for the welcome folks.

1.Red Micra. PnP is one type of transistor. The others NPN! But me? I’m just PlugnPlay…..

2.Hi Discovery. I’ve still got my T90 and Mamiya systems and neither worth a bean second hand! My first digital is a canon G5 but I plan to replace that soon with the G9.

3.Thanks jezer. I look forward to getting stuck in.

4.Thanks Amy-Hols and Adam.

5.Selkie. Brain? What’s a brain????

6. Yes MadEvie. A peripheral on a computer!
