Default Judge Given Complete Power

When I say complete power.....I don't mean like "God".....tho they may actually feel like they have . Sorry I have not yet found a link to this, but it was on the news yesterday......and if someone can find a link please post it.

Judges may be been given sole discretion over particular cases. The decision could be made 'because of the possible intimidation of jury members.' MMMMM.........mmmmmm.........Have we not had jewery members since time immoral? Have not jury members ALWAYS faced the possibility of intimidation? Has not the threat to that itimidation in the past been the ability of the police service to do it's job and PREVENT intimidation from taking place. Are we not now seeing an acceptance that the POLICE CAN'T DO THEIR JOB???

What are we seeing here ?? Are we not seeing the ability now of one man/woman to be JUDGE AND JURY ( a term used in the past as portraying unfairness) and have sole power over those cases that they reside?? ARE WE NOT SEEING A REVERSAL IN ETHICAL PRACTICE IN THIS COUNTRY IN FAVOUR OF SOME RICH PRIVILEDGE AND UNDOUBTEDLY BIASED PEOPLE over those who are POWERLESS.......and who were SUPPOSED to be given a FAIR TRIAL.....and I am not just talking about drug cases. The fact that the cases mentioned are drug related does not give one person the right to make all decisions. The jury service was set up because it was considered FAIR. Hello Salem witch hunt......you have NOT been forgotten.

Even now judges have been known to influence cases....WITH JURIES EVEN INVOLVED....and THEY SHOULDN'T. A case not so long ago involved a judge dismissing a blatant rape case.

I said it before and I shall say it again...this is country is nothing more than a 21st century Bastille that pretends to be a democratized sociality...why don't they just clamp us in chains and be done with it.

The judge said jury "tampering" was a "very significant" danger.
And what is it that makes them perfect and not open to a bribe?

It's a tad confusing and it looks as though I picked up on a 'drug' theme (see Times On Line).......however.......I now see the real reason for the "Judges" decision. It's about the huge somes of money these guys were after. Aaaaahh.......it all makes sense now. So.....the judges are thinking about the safety of the Jury are they??MMMM.......seems strange how they are really so concerned where money is at risk.......and you can get tatntammount to life these days for being involved in a big heist.....but killing someone......and killing someone when you are priviledged...mmmmmm Lord A......can kill a person through reckless driving and get of virtually scott free???? Then......I suppose the judge in question was protecting at least ONE member of the "public." Just don't do it again Lord A......you naughty man.
