Nazi Efforts to kill Sterling : Now it's the EURO!
This is some latest information which has been released. Nazi Germany tried to undermine Sterling by forging £5 notes. It worked to some extent apparently. Now was it the EURO which was instigated to repeat the process?

In a word, yes.Let's be honest here we have never been welcomed by the European leaders in pursuit of the great dream of a single currency and the merging of economies which is proving to be a disaster and Herr Merkel is showing her true colours here or there.

We're more like the Germans than any other nationality south of a line under Scandinavia, so why people find it appropriate to denigrate them in such a casual fashion, I just dont know. Its a bit like denigrating ourselves. Then again, with our population being increasingly diluted by races and nationalities from all corner of the globe, people whose values and culture are as akin to those of the majority Anglo Saxon population as Angela Merkel is to Raquel Welch, maybe we're suffering a crisis of confidence because our own national identity is teetering on the edge. And looking to project those concerns onto someone else.
As for the Euro, I guess they thought we would be forced to eat humble pie and join once it became an unmitigated triumph. Oops.
