I *think* I'm for it but I do need to read more about it first. I think it is important that we utilise things like wind as much as we can to provide our power.

Like Adam, I'm for it in principle, but I've read that each turbine takes such a huge amount of concrete that any benefit is outweighed by the amount of energy taken to produce all that concrete.

I'm unsure about it, simply because owing to the ever increasing population of Britain (and heaven only knows what the figures will be by 2020) I'm not convinced supply will meet demand.

Am afraid I am not at all for it as we have one alongside the M4 near Reading and it's a blot on the landscape.

An argument to that is that if we don't do anything about climate change (and the whole point of wind farms is to help with this and reduce reliance on fossil fuels) there will be no landscape to blot.

I think they aren't that bad and don't blot the landscape too much.

I can agree with you in principle Adam, but as there is only 1 stood very close to the motorway itself, it seems a tad futile.
Maybe if there were a biggish area set aside for a group of them, it may be more acceptable Sir.
