How much longer are we going to be bombarded with the blasted evil looking monkey and his mates on TV whenever the Olympic Games in Beijing are mentioned? I have found that the sequence is based on a Chinese story " Journey to the West". This link shows the information on the BBC which has short videos of the cartoon.
I have to admit that I have never seen such an evil and ugly looking monkey in my life. It is enough to frighten most kids more than the Darleks in Dr Who.
It's supposed to be a cartoon representation of the 70's TV show Monkey. The second time I saw it I was fed up of it and as for the chingy-changy music that goes with it..... Three weeks more I believe.
Wait until 2012 and we are made to watch that grafitti of the date when we host the Olympics. I am already seeing it on packaging, the corner of TV programmes and in the press. Does it count as subliminal propaganda?

It's naughty this but if you look carefully at the 2012 logo it looks like an outline of Lisa Simpson crouching down performing oral sex on a man's lower torso. Some wag did an animation of the act and posted it on Youtube.
