Default Steroid use. Is it worth it?

Pictures not to nice, just so you know.

Ok so we all want the perfect shaped body, and to body builders the ultimate is the Arnie body. But how far would you go for the looks..Is it worth what this young man now has to live with.

I'd love to have a toned body. Rumour has it that under my beer belly is an amazing sick pack. I'd never take steroids though because it's cheating. If I wanted to do it I'd do it the hard way. And I wouldn't want scars. Or for my testicles to shrivel up to the size of peanuts

Why the hell some blokes want to look like a muscle bound ape is beyond me. Good muscle tone, obtained naturally, looks good in a man and is usually a balanced shape with a noticable "six pack" and well defined muscle shape. Once you start messing about with anabolic steroids then things all go to pieces. Steroids, used medically, can be highly effective in certain diseases. When used purely to enhance body shape then over use is asking for trouble. This link gives a good idea of what anabolic steroids are, how they are used, and what complications can happen if they are not used wisely: Anabolic steroid - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A general view of steroids, including others which are used medically, can be found at this link: Steroid - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia it is a bit technical but anyone who has a knowledge of chemistry, especially biochemistry, should be able to work their way through it. If you don't want the technical bit then just leave it.

It is a bit late to start telling me about shrivelled nuts Adam.

I was in research back in the 1970s and knew about the problems associated with anabolic steroids, which helps to explain why I'm a 6ft 2in beanpole- and why other bits of me are normal size!

So long as this helps to stop other twits from going the same way, and also suffering from serious life threatening heart conditions, so much the better.

I know this is off topic but did you ever get involved with research into Statins Jezer? It might be best if you PM me if you did rather than going on the thread. Thanks.
