Default Same Dreams

Just thought I'd share something spooky that happened over the weekend.

I rang my mum - nothing especially noteworthy there, but during the conversation, I happened to mention that I'd had a strange dream about being in the back of my car - but the pedals were there, and the car rolling downhill, and me stamping furiously on the brake trying to stop the car - but the pedals didn't work.

This would've been ok - if my mother hadn't then been able to tell me how the dream ended - the car rolled down into some grass and stopped short of a concrete bollard that dinted the front slightly.

She had had the same dream on the same night - though she wasn't in my car at the time - she couldn't remember what car she was in.

Anyone want to analyse that??!

You're both back seat drivers with cars that have failed their MOT?

Can't think of anything deeper.

That is so spooky isn't it.

My daughter had a dream (the night befor visiting relatives).
She told me about it when she woke up, that at the house we were going to, there was a net stretching across the garden and we were all playing tennis.
When we arrived at the house later that day...there was a net stretched across the garden, and our relatives were playing badmington.
(Insert twilight zone music here....)

Very strange indeed but I've heard of similar and had "things" happen that aren't dreams but simultaneous...well I don't know what you'd call them.. feelings? I don't know why they happen except to say that I feel at certain times in waking or in dreams that people do "tune in" with one another, not something we can control or manipulate... and when the time is right this happens. I can only assume that there is a link between the persons (as you and your mother) and when it happened to me, me and OH. Mine was...all day one day I had a feeling I had a ring on my wedding ring finger (altho married I don't wear any rings indoors so didn't have one on). It was really niggly....I kept wanting to take it off, it was definitely "there" this ring as in felt it but didn't see it, it was so bothersome. In the evening after our meal my OH said that he had been really bothered by the feeling of a ring on his wedding ring finger (which he didn't wear) and that it lasted all day and he was aware of this "ring". I was absolutely gobsmacked because I'd not mentioned anything to him and to find he'd experienced exactly the same on the same day and over the same hours was really freaky. Needless to say I didn't have an explanation and never did know why it happened... no hidden messages there... we didn't get a divorce ha ha.

That is very uncanny classylady.
I find that happens quite alot, in smaller ways with my OH . I will be thinking something , such as ..He ought to phone his mum, because it's been a coupla days..Then within a few seconds he's saying it. This happens alot, like you sort of tune in to each other thoughts. Perhaps it's something to do with emitting subtle body languge...Coo! Ark at me gettin' all technical

Similar here for us... tuning in to one another... I will think something and he will say it or vice versa.... but then I know there is telepathy between people/animals it's not really mysterious is it, maybe the same dreams/feelings are similar too.
