Feels as if prices have for now at least levelled out. Sadly there seems no sign of any "price wars" on supermarket forecourts for now at least.

Interestingly Opec met this week and agreed to maintain production levels for now. They will meet again in 3 months time.

Filled up with diesel last night for the first time in a month at the same garage I last visited. Their diesel has dropped by 5p to £1.36.9 a litre. At last a price drop!

I noticed in the press recently that Sainsburys are introducing a new fuel promotion where you receive 10p off the price of a litre when you spend £60 or more instore. In fact it may have already started.

Tesco has been giving 5p a litre off for months now with a £50+ spend. Sainsbugs did it a year or so back, but the rub here was that the nearest place with a petrol station is in Street which is about a 40 minute run!!! What a stupid waste of a voucher.

Still 139.9 where I normally go for diesel.

More recently Tesco's deal was buy two of their 9 roll pack of loo rolls for £7.98 and get 5p a litre off petrol. Guess whose store cupboard is bursting with loo rolls? We have yet to try it as we normally use Andrex.

You're lucky. Up here in the frozen North, we use torn-up newspaper.

If we've had a lucky run on the dogs, we sometimes run to a roll of Izal.

PM your address and I'll send you some. I am sure I can spare one or two rolls from the 54 rolls I have.
