Default Petrol Price watch

This is not a rant thread...Please use the other one.

Post your prices in your area here, have they gone up or down.

Well petrol here hit 122.99 but in the last three weeks it has fallen!

Petrol here is now 114.99 as of June 2010.

It's dropped a bit here- trying to remember. I think diesel is about £1.18p now, with petrol 2p a litre cheaper.

This litre cr*p is partly about hiding the shock of what an imperial gallon of petrol costs.

Here it would be around £5.27p!

Mostly tax of course.

Bleed us dry why don't you

I thought it might be interesting to compare this thread with the one you did on the same subject in March, Mono.

Last week we noticed a huge discrepancy in petrol prices. We paid £1.159 a litre at Asda in High Wycombe (the cheapest we saw) but saw prices at £1.249 elsewhere.

Prices have been frozen here since early May with petrol and diesel at £1.17 and £1.19 respectively. Asda have initiated one of these forecourt price wars recently and now their petrol is down to £1.14.

117.99 diesel p/l

Morrisons
114.99 unleaded p/l

Our local Sainsbury's has come down from 121.9 to 117.9 in the last 3 weeks. Not down enough and not quickly enough but better than going up.
