Default Solar Eclipse

It's cloudy but I'll be trying to see it later (10.16 to be precise) and I'm nearly in Scotland so hopeful that I should get a decent partial!

I didn't really see anything - It's just got brighter here so the sun could have been slightly shaded!

I saw a slight nibble out of it while it was going in and out of the cloud. I used two pieces of card for the sunny bits and some some ND filters screwed together for the thin cloud bits!

It was. Not sure what the nibble factor was though!

I think I should coin that phrase!

Was it 1999 when we had the total eclipse? I was working at HMS Raleigh then and it was during the leave period so there was no Navy on site so those of us that were working went and sat down by the parade ground. I remember the birds behaving as if it was time to roost but the thing I remember most was the sudden drop in temperature.
