I think the french got it right though £300 fine and a months ban for a first offence. Mind you he was 30 mph over the limit. They also impounded this car until he paid but then they have human beings policing their roads so they can do that sort of thing.

I really think that's better than £60 followed by a 12 month ban you get here.
