Whhoo!

Havent and Waterlooville, formed only five or so years ago, are now 4-2 ahead of the leaders of League One, Swansea.

Fingers crossed- I think that they are the only non league side left in the cup and the winners play

what a great result and now they are playing Liverpool in the fourth round, they have nothing to lose-everybody expects Liverpool to win by a cricket score but if the unthinkable happens and the non-league side wins, then it will be one of the biggest shocks in football, ever

also as Liverpool's owners are itching to get rid of Benitez, this would provide them with all the ammunition they need to do so and appoint a new manager

Didn't non-league Hereford beat mighty Newcastle (when Newcastle were a decent team including 6 internationals and Malcom MacDonald) once upon a time?

The problem for the non-league team is that while ties like this does make them money for a season, bigger clubs are alerted and they tend to lose their best players to league sides the following season.

The reverse is happening with the disintegration of Luton Town. Salisbury are getting one of their players.

I'm glad Eric Morecombe isn't around to see it.
