You know Marnie- you may have a point.

Pick the players on the basis of their looks and who knows, you could well be just as successful as a number of so called managers.

Well it does make you wonder, all I can say is in my view theres too much money and celebrity in football and sod all achieved on the pitch for England, is there a connection??

Give me Nobby Stiles, Bobby Moore, Gordon Banks and the like any day.

They'd make mincemeat out of the England players of today.

I think he didn't put Becks on to make a statement saying "I pick the team not public opinion" I reckon Becks may get his cap at a later date in a friendly only not in a mtach that matters! But IF he doesn't many great players before him have had almost 100 caps.It won't effect his bank balance only his pride.
