I loved that place- I was 14, and a reasonable player.

Later I came across County players and saw how big a difference there was. And they were girls!

And lets not forget Chris Eaton - pleased to see that they have bumped him up to Court One. He's playing Dmitry Tursunov.

I'd like Murray to go all the way but my enthusiasm is somewhat curbed after years of hoping Tim would go all the way.

Good work Andy!

Sharapova is out - as mean as it sounds I'm pleased as she squeals like a pig everytime she hits the damn ball!

Anne Keothavong was fantastic - lost to Williams but what a fantastic match! Hoping her ranking goes up quite a bit.

Eaton is out. The first set was good but I think losing it knocked him for the rest of the match. Future potential that's for sure. He's walked away with £19k so not a bad couple of days work!

Interesting to see Roddick struggling although I'm sure he'll pull it around in the fifth.

From a sexist point of view, Sharipova was great with the sound turned off, as Adam said.

Roddick out too - wow what a defeat!

Agreed Jezer - you can understand a certain amount of grunting but she seems to have an orgasm everyime she hit the ball (although my experience here is pretty much nil!)

Blimey - what a marathon match with Murray and Gasquet

5-7 3-6 7-6 6-2 6-4

Absolutley astounding tennis. Murray was outplayed on every level in the first two sets but then he won the tie break in the third and completely turned it around. Gasquet tried every trick in the book (extended toilet break, moaning about light and even moaning about the crowd cheering) but it didn't work.

Well played Andy

Wonder what the match against Nadal will be like?!
