Don't worry Amy there will be replays following replays during the weekend and, if you are very lucky, the BBC will show the whole event on BBC2 just to upset BBC2 viewers. You did indeed miss a fantastic event, up to the flag waving and mutal admiration society. It was much like watching a magicians show on the theatre only on a larger scale.

Have a look at the BBC site under "Olympics" on the LHS of the screen. There are videos of the events so far.

By the way, I was told this by a friend so I have no link to back it up, but apparently the BBC have sent 440 people out to cover the olympics..... that is a LOT of coverage!

I didn't watch much of the ceremony, but when I did I got annoyed by Huge Edwards and other annoying BEEB commentators talking over the events- I can work things out thank you.
