It would be a shame to lose Diving and Gymnastics from the games but Citius, Altius, Fortius applies not who can impress the judges most and while there are subjective opinions deciding medals there will always be arguments

I have never uderstood the sports where the results are open to interpretation. Any sport where "style" points are awarded seems odd to me. I prefer the sports where I can tell the winner, not rely on somebody who proclaims to know what they are talking about deciding. Also leaves open the whole debate about impartiality.
But then those involved (divers, synch-swimmers, gymnasts etc) knew the deal before they entered the competition, and they seem happy enough.
