Well I think that you clearly cannot see art when its staring you in the face!!! Of course he pulled it off..... nearly an entire film based on what is essentially a monolouge...? Fantastic!!!

Perhaps not, but then perhaps my idea of art is different to yours. IMO the trailers gave the impression there was some action in the film, but I thought there was very little and fast forwarded a lot of it because I found it tiring. But everyone's opinion is different and everyone is entitled to give there opinion.

it appears that everything Will Smith touches turns to gold and the majority of his films have been hits with the exception of the excruciating "Wild Wild West" which is so bad it has to be seen to be believed-but he is a good actor who can switch from comedy to pathos at the drop of a hat

i love the concept of his new film and i will be going to see it and draw my own conclusions then

Didn't do it for me, video game film, will smith just can't act in my opinion, not well anyway and there always has to be some soppy element. I might check out the original though.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was fantastic! Will Smith was great and as Blondie said the thing was essentially a monologue for the most. Saw it at an IMAX too so it was HUGE!!

I find it amazing that there are so many differing opinions about this film. I saw it on Saturday, and thought is was absolutely fantastic. Will Smith acted out of his skin, and no doubt there will be an oscar (or at least a nomination) on the way to him for it.

I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole thing (and I'm NOT one to usually like American films).

Top rate.

Only ILEGALLY Sooty. I prefer to go to the cinema. You get a better atmosphere, it's better on the big screen, and nobody gets to profit from an illegal pirating!

Why is it that whenever somebody talks about "seeing art" I always think of Diane Keaton's quote in Annie Hall
